The
interior of the building is designed as to be part lit. Two windows are placed
at opposite ends as to allow for an uninterrupted view from the new public
square to the valley beyond. The particular arrangement enables the building to
maintain its strong architectural identity, while establishing a strong visual
connection to its context.
The structure of the building is visible from the inside and plays a sculptural role in the design; it combines frame and solid construction in equal measure. A thin concrete wall, supported by the building’s abutments, extends over the pillars and beams at an angle, giving the building its monolithic aesthetic.Σχετικό link
